T-Beam 2002 for AutoCAD 2005-06 Download Now

T-Beam 2002 now integrates the latest Active-X technology in its new release. The use of floating palettes inside AutoCAD enables the designer to have all the tools needed to create quick and accurate T-Beam layouts at the touch of the mouse. New features have also been added to enable existing architectural layouts to be quickly and easily converted into T-Beam 2002 format.

T-Beam 2002 still adopts its four stage approach to design.

Stage 1. Building layout - both cavity and single wall construction is available and the options to distinguish between structural and nonstructural walls enables the software to easily find bay boundaries.

Stage 2. Beams can either be created in a single step mode or an Engineer Bay function which will layout the bay automatically. T-Beam 2002 has an easy to configure beam and block database to suit the suppliers used in your design. Clash detection is always making sure that each beam created does not clash with either adjacent bays or obstructed areas such as down pipes.

Stage 3. An integrated block librarian system then enables additional symbols to be added to the layout, these often include Vents. Once vents have been included into the drawing the scheduler will also include them in its bill of quantities.

Stage 4. Scheduler - A full schedule of beams and vents can be called upon at anytime. These can either be pasted to the drawing or exported to MS Excel.

All types of walls can be created via the wall constructors. These range from cavity to single walls. Single walls have the further option to be designed as structural or nonstructural.

The use of structural and nonstructural single walls, enables the system to automatically locate bay boundaries.

Tools from the main menu will enable walls from external architectural layouts to be used.

Quantities can be easily checked at any stage during the design.
